All I wished for was a little excitement… A life spent in a small-town breeds unspeakable boredom, and with my twenty-seventh birthday just around the corner I want nothing more than to break out of the rut I’ve been in…I guess the old adage is true, be careful what you wish for. Cue the mysterious stranger who shows up in our town just days before my birthday. Sure, he’s sort of a dick but damn he looks good while he does it. When my birthday hits, he’s who I’m going to need to trust as I watch my entire life go up in flames.
